he Ladarcha Fair is a popular means of celebration to the people of Spiti valley. Before the closure of the Tibetan traders, the fair used to be held at Kibbar maidan in Spit in the month of July. This used to be the meeting point for traders from Ladakh, Rampur Busher and Spiti. It used to offer a good barter ground for them of their production.

Earlier or before the closure of Tibetan Traders, the fair used to hold at Kibbar Maidan in Spiti. It was the meeting point of traders from Ladakh Rampur Busher and Spiti.
However, some minor changes have done in the fair and now it is celebrated at Kaza – the headquarters of Spiti Sub Division. It is held in the 3rd Week of August that observes a get together of locals, traders and visitors from Kullu, Lahaul and Kinnaur. In simple words, it is like a conference for the people from Spiti, Ladakh and Kinnaur cultures along with the people from Indian plains.
